Find where you purchased
Check the purchase receipt and the account used to pay. The device you use today does not determine the billing provider. An App Store subscription, Google Play subscription and website subscription are managed in different places. Do not buy a second plan just because you cannot find the first one.
Purchased through the App Store
- On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name and open Subscriptions.
- Select the Authenticator subscription and review its status and renewal information.
- To stop renewal, choose Cancel Subscription and complete Apple’s confirmation. If the cancel control is absent and an expiration message is shown, it may already be canceled.
If you cannot find it, check the Apple Account on the receipt. On Mac, open the App Store account and its subscription controls.
Purchased through Google Play
- Open Google Play using the Google Account that made the purchase.
- Open your subscriptions and select Authenticator.
- Review the renewal information. To stop renewal, choose Cancel subscription and follow Google Play’s confirmation.
If it is missing, switch to the purchasing Google Account. Removing the app does not cancel a Play subscription.

Purchased on this website
- Sign in with the email used for the website purchase.
- Open Subscription in the account menu to review the plan, status and renewal date.
- Use Cancel renewal to stop future renewal and complete the confirmation. Check the updated status and access date.
Use Payment method to review website billing details. Removing a card is not the same as canceling renewal. Website account controls do not cancel an App Store or Google Play purchase.
Still cannot find the purchase?
Check other purchase accounts and the receipt’s billing provider first. If you contact support, include the purchase channel and a receipt or order reference with unrelated personal and payment information removed. Never send a full card number, security code, password or authenticator setup key.
Cancellation, refunds and code recovery are separate processes. Deleting the app does not replace cancellation, and renewing a plan cannot restore missing code secrets.
