Before you start
Stay signed in to the Binance app and keep access to your existing verification methods.
Open the security settings
- Open Account, tap the profile section and open Security.
- Choose Authenticator App → Enable. Binance shows a QR code and setup key.
Connect Authenticator
Open Authenticator and choose +. Scan the setup QR code, or use manual entry if the service provides a setup key. Give the account a recognizable label and save it. Keep the QR code and key private.
After adding the entry, return to Binance, choose Next and enter its six-digit code to confirm.
Keep a way back in
Keep your setup information private and preserve the recovery options Binance offers. Account resets and additional verification are controlled by Binance, not by Authenticator.
If a code is rejected, check the account label and device time, then try a fresh code. Troubleshoot a rejected code.
