Before you start
Verify your Roblox email before starting. Keep additional recovery methods available.
Open the security settings
- Open Roblox Account Settings → Security.
- Turn on 2-Step Verification by Authenticator App and follow the account’s setup prompts.
Connect Authenticator
Open Authenticator and choose +. Scan the setup QR code, or use manual entry if the service provides a setup key. Give the account a recognizable label and save it. Keep the QR code and key private.
Enter the current app code in Roblox to finish enabling the authenticator method.
Keep a way back in
In Security, generate and save recovery codes. Keep enough independent recovery methods to meet Roblox’s account-recovery requirements. Passkey sign-in uses a different flow.
If a code is rejected, check the account label and device time, then try a fresh code. Troubleshoot a rejected code.
